Welcome to Safe World Village NFP, a 501c3 where we empower youth and families to thrive through a holistic approach rooted in faith, financial literacy, and fun.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive support 7 days a week, offering music & movement programs, financial literacy for youth and families, and professional development for educators and coaches.

We believe that empowering youth begins with supporting the entire family. By integrating leadership, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy, we equip both youth and families with the tools they need to succeed physically, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually.

Our programs teach invaluable life skills—communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, and resilience—while fostering a safe and nurturing environment for growth.

Building Safe World Village: The Vision and Values That Drive Us:

Safe World Village NFP is the brainchild of Mikal Clay, who grew up in an era where community centers were cherished as safe spaces for connection, growth, and learning. Having witnessed firsthand the impact these spaces had on his own life, Mikal’s deep commitment to youth development and empowering underserved communities led him to create Safe World Village.

His vision is to provide a nurturing, faith-filled, fun-based environment where youth and families can thrive together, through programs that foster resilience, leadership, and financial literacy.

Mikal brings over 13 years of experience in the Chicago Public Schools system, where he led transformative initiatives, creating programs that blended positive youth development, family engagement, music, and sports. Mikal is also a corporate DJ and an award-winning barber with his own product line, seamlessly combining creativity and entrepreneurship to empower youth and inspire confidence.

Having connected deeply with Mikal’s vision, Tiffany Yvonne, our Vice President, was eager to join this important effort.

Tiffany’s two decade-long expertise as a CPA, leadership coach, and strategic consultant complements Mikal’s work, especially in the areas of financial literacy and youth empowerment. Recognized by Congress for her work in leadership and social impact, Tiffany’s innovative methods have been integral in aligning Safe World Village’s programs with the mission of equipping families with financial knowledge and the tools for long-term success.

Together, Mikal and Tiffany’s combined 40+ years of experience, entrepreneurial spirit, and dedication to innovative, youth-centered programs form the foundation of Safe World Village NFP.

Their leadership continues to inspire positive change, empowering youth, families, and communities to thrive.
